The best night ever!
I've listened Rock music since I was a kid, all genders, and now, when the time has passed, I'm still enjoying like the first time. Iron Maiden it's my fauvorite band, and I had the privilege to see them in 2019 in the Legacy of the Beast tour at the Estadio Nacional in Santiago.
Iron Maiden is a Heavy Metal band founded in 1975 by its bassist Steve Harris, and a couple of friends. The band quickly became one of the best bands on the genre and a Rock icon in Great Britain. Hords of people go to their concerts.
I'm always think about that concert, because I thought the band would stop playing (they are very old now), or they would separate and I couldn't see them. But there I was, with a friend who invited me, screaming and laughing. The stadium was full of people, screaming and laughing like us, running to take the best place.
At the end, we felt so happy, we couldn't believe it, the guitar solos, the amazing sound of the band, it was the best concert of my life. But in the night we needed to go home and the buses were full, but we took a truck that took us to Plaza Dignidad for $1.000 pesos. If they come again I will surely go.

I am very happy to know that Iron Maiden returned to our country despite the fact that the times he has been in Chile have not left with a good taste in his mouth because of the prejudices in 1992 and in the year 1996 where the concert almost ended in a fight.
ResponderEliminarHi David, I belive your experience is amazing, I imagine all energy you felt in this place with so many people singing at the top of their lungs! It must have been unforgettable.

Iron Maiden has come several times (I haven't been to any of them hahaha) and I'm sure they will come again. With long discography bands like Iron Maiden I get "stuck" with certain albums. In the last few months I've been listening to a lot of their more progressive period.
ResponderEliminarIt is quite an experience to be able to be in a concert of such magnitude and of a group that moves so many people !!!
